Finally cleaned off my desk at work and left before 2pm. I wanted to get a wireless mouse for my laptop before we left. Surprisingly, we were all packed and in the car ready to leave by 5:00pm.
Since we were traveling via I-80, George wanted to stop at Quaker Steak and Lube to eat. From there we drove another hour or so and found a Holiday Inn Express to spend the night.
George and Nicole left for snacks while Damon, Brandon, and I went to the room. For once the room was big and nice and I actually got a "Good job" on the selection--usually I pick the cheaper hotels that aren't the nicest. Damon went straight to work on his division homework. Good for him.
I'm hoping to get a good night's rest for a LONG travel day tomorrow.
